Rural Roundup
As previously advised, funding for the completion of New Line Rd has been cut. It is essential that the Hills and Hornsby Shire communities make it clear to the State Government that this is unacceptable.
I shall be working with the Hills Councillors to ensure that this desperate state of affairs is once once more made a budget priority. If you are feeling strongly about this issue, I advocate writing to the roads Minister, the Hon. John Graham, directly: john.graham@parliament.nsw.gov.au
By contrast, it has been fantastic to see the final seal and line marking accomplished on Cobah Rd Arcadia.
This venture was a transparent demonstration of how collaboration between the residents of Arcadia and Fiddletown, the Northholm School group, Councillors, and administration could bring a few budget precedence where it beforehand didn’t exist.
New Line RdLikewise, I welcome the completion of the latest stage of the Arcadia Rd upgrade. I look ahead to working with our finance group in maintaining the next stage on monitor.
More improvements at Wal Buckingham Park Glenorie have been accomplished. Worth a look when within the neighborhood of the Glenorie Memorial Hall.
The much-anticipated re-opening or the Galston Aquatic Centre is now shut. Rural Roundup has pushed out slightly and is about for early November with access anticipated towards the tip of that month.
I wish to acknowledge and thank the Open Garden committee for an additional profitable occasion. The weather was kind which actually helped in the success of such a well-liked group challenge.
Equally thrilling is the return of events to Fagan Park. Carols by Candlelight has suggested that this free event shall be held Saturday 9th December 4pm – 8pm.
